researching mine and my husbands family tree. My grandad John Smith died in 1988 and was married to Margaret Mcgrory, they had 7 children. If anyone has any information on any of my grandparents and their family.
On my husbands side we cannot get further than grandparents. The name Dow (surname) in Edinburgh area and Baldock - James Baldock who married Sheila Robb.
Let me know if anyone knows anything I can extend this with.

Various names have been suggested, but nothing comes up in L D , FreeCen, Sotlan'sPeople or Batch Nos...
On the Death Cert of Edward 1821 it is stated that his father was ??... cannot read.....Robertson. with wife (and mother of Edward) as Margart More (could be Moore, Moir or ?)
(Edward B1821 was married to Elizabeth Glen in1845)

Found out she is my 1/2 sister. She has 2 boys Neil & Ian. Her father and mother were Leonard Ernest Hopkins and Ann nee Humphre originally from Aberdeen or Edinburgh. Kept in touch with her father up till 1997 but I have no contact details.
